How are you incorporating children into the educational life of your church? Let’s exchange ideas on when to have church school (Sunday during/before worship? Midweek?), what curriculum or models seem to work best, and all those other creative ideas that I know you have for incorporating children into Sunday morning activities!
JoAnn especially wants to swat ideas and experiences with community children and youth programs or multi church children and youth programs. She’s interested in finding out if anyone else is doing this and how that works in their churches and how it is organized. She is concerned about how you then get those children or youth involved in a specific church or if the host church winds up with all the kids.

Here's something from Danny.....
I had mentioned this resource to some of our fellow clergy while at VTS. It is a lectionary based resource for Christian Education from an Episcopal perspective and also has a link to a Lutheran site.
I wanted to share this webpage with you:

This has nothing to do with Children's programming but was anyone else exhausted by the end of July? I was thinking that our VTS experience would be a bit of a break. Not so. I needed a week off in Aug. just to make it through the summer.
